Where you found us
We were proud to support the event and connect with athletes and families in the Vendor Village—open to the public—even after the race reached capacity. The official lineup listed “52 Strong Personal Training,” and we appreciated everyone who stopped by to talk strength, mobility, and 5K prep. (RunSignup)

How 52 Strong builds better 5Ks
At 52 Strong Personal Fitness, we coach runners to be strong, resilient, and confident on race day. Our 5K approach includes:
- Strength that carries you: Posterior-chain work (hinge/squat/lunge), single-leg stability, and core to maintain form when fatigue hits.
- Run-specific mobility: Ankles/hips/thoracic rotation so your stride stays smooth and efficient.
- Prehab > rehab: Shoulder, knee, and calf durability work to reduce overuse tweaks.
- Smart pacing & strategy: Negative splits, cadence awareness, and fueling/hydration basics for evening races.
A simple 6-week build (starter outline)
- Weeks 1–2: 2 strength sessions + 2 runs/week (easy miles + strides).
- Weeks 3–4: Add short intervals (e.g., 6×1:00 hard/1:00 easy) and a slightly longer weekend run.
- Weeks 5–6: Progress intervals (e.g., 5×3:00 at 5K-10K effort) and sharpen with light race-pace work; taper the final 3–4 days.
